A LittLe
HistorY On Our ClaSS
We
all came from different schools, differnt family background and we each
possess differnt characteristics, but it is fate and destiny that brings
us together to be in the same class. When we first gathered together for
our class lessons or lectures, we were all so shy among each other that
we mix around with only a certain group of people, or rather, people of
the same sex and didn't really talk much among ourselves.
Things however, did not started out as smoothly as what we imagined it
to be, coz during lessons, the class guys would usually sit at one side
of the class while the gals sit on the other side. There seems to
be segregation within the class. However, as one might puts it, time will
eventutally tells everything, and it took us almost about 2 long months
before we finally managed to break the ice and started to mix around together.
Our
first unofficial class outing that we had, was a trip to Seoul Garden.
Though not exactly the ideal place for a class outing one might say, but
nevertheless, it provides an opportunity for us to get to know each other
much better and to see the "other "side of us instead of our serious self
at class. Our first official class activity however came not too long later.
This time, the whole class was involved in flag selling activities which
we gathered and work together. It was really great fun although we had
a rather exhausted day that day collecting funds and by serving the community.
It can be said that during our time together as a class in year one, we
had a lot of fun together and we've create a lot of jokes too.
Also, in times of needs, the guys do help the gals willingly.
Sad
to say, as the new semester came by, some of our classmates due to their
excellence in their academic decided to change course, ( Koh Yee Huei,
Ng Buck Sin, Minthuya KoKo, Don) while another of our classmate, a girl
decided to opt to transfer to another class. therefore our class size shrunk.
However, happily to say, we did have some other new students joining our
class too. They are Dina and Joan. Well, for now, our class consist
of 13 students !! 8 guys and 5 gals. We had also appointed a new class
representative, ERIC and his assistant EDY as our previous class representative
( Koh Yee Huei ) and his assistant ( Minthuya KoKo ) has left to join other
classes.
Thus, our new class rep and his assistant will be left in charge
of most of the "big" and "small" things in our class. Assisting them
too, will be our class treasurer, Weiling, who has been our class treasurer
ever since day 1. Perharps the shrunk of our class size was a blessing
in disguise. It can be noted that our class has now seems to become more
united and cooperative this year maybe it's because the class is smaller
and it is easier to communicate
.
We
mix around more often now and cracked jokes almost everyday. New subjects
and new lecturer are what we gotta get used to. Time passes fast, and in
a blink of an eyes, we are all going to our different third year classes.
Though we are no longer together as a class, but we can still remember
the good times that we once had together.
